American Cultural Icons

When it comes to creating cultural icons, America is the world leader. There are very, very few places around the globe where you can’t get a Starbucks, McDonalds, or even a dish of wiggly Jell-O. In addition, many of our television shows, movies, and stage productions have also reached that iconic status as well.

With these posts, which I call American Cultural Icons, I’ll take you back to the very origins of some of our most loved and well-known businesses and television programs. As with my other writings, I’ve used the same historical researching, in which I discovered some interesting facts that I guarantee will surely surprise you.

So, I hope you’ll enjoy as I take you on this little journey, as we explore some of our American Cultural Icons.
